Parliamentary committee on retail sector
Posted On: 09-06-2008 04:44:55 AM

THE Parliamentary standing committee on commerce looking at the issue of foreign and domestic investment in the retail sector, has invited comments from a cross-section of stakeholders and the public on the issue.
The committee, headed by Murli Manohar Joshi, has already heard oral evidence and undertaken on-the-spot study visits to some places. It now seeks to receive inputs from a wider cross-section of stakeholders and the public at large. All submissions to the committee would form part of the records of the committee and would be treated as confidential and would not be circulated or disclosed to anyone.
