Q3 (2015-16) : Future Consumer Enterprise loss widens to Rs.22.86 crore

As per an article in Mint:

Future Consumer Enterprise Ltd, which runs convenience retail chains KBís Fairprice and Big Apple, reported an increase in its December quarter net loss to Rs.22.86 crore from Rs.21.45 crore a year ago.
Net sales increased 12.97% to Rs.512.95 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year from Rs.364.15 crore a year ago.

Future Consumer Enterprise leads the integrated food strategy of Future Group. Its businesses include food and packaged consumer goods brands, urban and rural distribution and investments in food parks, salons, spas and an edutainment company.

Going forward Future Consumer plans to open franchise stores following approval from its shareholders, the company has said in a press release.
