Aeropostale using flash mobs for Indian debut

As per a report in Economic Times, American clothing brand Aeropostale is using flash mobs to promote its India entry. The brand which plans to launch its first store on November 7 has rolled out its activation programs targeted at youth in colleges around the national capital in south Delhi's Select City Walk mall.

Aeropostale will enter the Indian market through a licensee agreement with Arvind Lifestyle Brands. The New York-headquartered brand, plans to open 30 stores and 25 shop-in shops over the next three years as well as an ecommerce portal.

Aeropostale is the latest international apparel offer in the Indian market, following on the heels of American clothing and accessory brand GAP and Swedish retail-clothing company H&M.
