Posted On: 05-09-2013 00:00:00 13

Inorbit Malls, a group company of K Raheja Corp, has opened its first mall in Gujarat Vadodara at a cost of around Rs 300 crore. This is the 6th Inorbit mall in the country.

With the Vadodara launch the company has taken a step into tier-II and tier-III cities and is now looking at Mysore in Karnataka, Coimbatore in Tamilnadu and Nagpur.

Anchor retailers in the mall are Hypercity, Shoppers Stop and Marks & Spencer. The original mall was planned at5 lakh square feet, but given a depressed economy and reduced consumer spending, the company down sized the mall to 4 lakh square feet.
