The online fashion retailer Myntra.com, which currently has monthly revenue of Rs 15 crore, gets more than 50% of its business from tier 2 and 3 towns. In Andhra Pradesh, Myntra reports orders to the tune of 550 per day, from regions like Vishakapatnam, Warangal, Tirupati and Rajamaundry, besides the twin capital cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Seeing the potential in these non-metros, the Company plans to focus on the regions in the interiors of India to continue doubling its growth. As per media reports, Mukesh Bansal, founder and CEO Myntra.com observed that the concept of online shopping is gaining acceptance in India, and the cash-on-delivery option contributes to a large part of the sales. Myntra is targeting revenue of Rs 500 crore in the next fiscal. To achieve this target, the Company plans to continue investing in their technology platform, supply chain and logistics, to strengthen their delivery networks across 400 cities.
